My Same

Reasons I dislike the rainy season :

  1. You can't go to the beach because its too wet.
  2. You can't wear flip-flops because your feet will get wet and muddy.
  3. The internet connection goes screwy.
  4. You feel sleepy all the time.
  5. It's always cold.
  6. Horrible TV satellite signal.

Reasons I like the rainy season :

  1. It's a good time to read books.
  2. I like the smell of rain.
  3. I learn to appreciate the heat -_-

and that's all I can think of now. I am READY for school.

Camisado

Since when did my playlist get so pathetic? I'm hitting the 'next' button every 5 seconds, trying to get a song that I can tolerate.
I need new tunes.

Lyrical Lies

I don't know why, but holidays always seem to have bad, bad, BAD effects on me. Bad from every aspect like, physically, mentally, emotionally, rationally and so on.

Physically in the sense that I rarely get up and MOVE during holidays. I just spend my days sitting in front of the computer, sitting in front of the TV, lying in bed, sitting in cinemas watching movies, sitting down and chatting with friends, reading while lying down. Holidays don't turn me into a couch potato. They just turn me into a plain potato, with no life, limbs or brain. The only times I get up and move is when I go and get food. Or rush to the toilet after a few hours of tahan-ing because I was too lazy to get up and go to the toilet.

Yes, I am a fat, useless, lazy, lifeless pig. I get it.

Mentally; what else? Boredom. My mind gets so clogged up with boredom that I just don't know what to do. I vegetate in front of the computer and TV and hibernate dawn to dusk. The only exercise my mind gets is from a book and if the book gets too boring, sorry la weh. Its back to the computer/TV/bed.

Emotionally. Let's face it. When you're bored, you feel like crap. When you have nothing to do, you come to a point when you just feel like screaming 'I NEED A BLEEDING LIFE! GIVE ME SOMETHING EXCITING! RRRRRGGHHH!'. That kind of thing. And when you go back to the same dull, mundane life, you feel all depressed and glum because your brain just doesn't feel like functioning anymore.

Rationally. When you reach that breaking point, you find something crazy to do to relieve yourself. Like me, I find myself talking to my cats more often because it suddenly seems fun.

Me : Opieeeeeee! Who's a good boy? Who's a good furry, chubby, foul-breathed but extweeeemely cute boy? ( while rubbing his tummy extremely hard )

Opie : Meowwww ( bites hand and runs under the table )

Me : Cherryyyyy, come here you fat, emo, lonely momma. Gimme some looove!

Cherry : Meow? ( looks at Nadia with insanely huge eyes )

See what I mean?
I would go out and find some kind of club or something, but since holidays are almost over there isn't much of a point. I guess I'll just have to survive the remainder of my holidays with the cats, computer, TV and books.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think I'll be glad when school reopens. Hmm.

Human

A friend of mine wants to buy a box to put a birthday present inside it.

" Mana nak cari kotak cantik eh? "

" Kenapa nak beria sangat? Letak je la dalam paper bag ke plastic bag or something "

" Nak bagi, biar ikhlas la okay "

" Its the thought that counts "

" Well, my thought is to buy a box "

I can't get this conversation out of my head. I laugh to myself whenever I think about it.
I really do love my friends :D

Chasing Pavements

For these past three days, I have eaten nothing but fast food. I don't think I've eaten a proper plate of rice in more than a week. No wonder most of my old pants don't fit anymore.

And just now, being the greedy pig that I am, I stole my brother's strawberry sundae. He wasn't home to eat it and the ice cream was melting, so I kind of 'helped' him.

I can just feel my new and taut legs fattening up again. *sigh

Fulfill The Dream

After looking at myself in the full length mirror, I realized that my calves look very well defined after a week of walking all over the place.

I should definitely walk around more.

nice to know you

i went camping. it rocked. we laughed in the sunshine all day and danced in the rain all night. and that's not a metaphorical sentence. we literally laughed all day and danced all night.

i'm not the most active camper ever but i can tell you that camp was 100% fun. plenty of new friends and old friends got closer to each other *aww*

yet, with all the fantastic people i met, there were still a few shitheads that didn't know the meaning of respect. in a camp, i never thought that race and religion would be a huge deal. that might have just been me being naive little Nadia eh?

stupid stuff i heard :

" wah, so good you never wear tudung. i think girls wearing tudung very weird and the tudung like very menyusahkan "

" Murut people like orangutan only "

" i think Malays shouldn't be in st john because they're just not as good as everyone else "

does that piss you off or what? and for the record, those weren't words from foreigners. some chinese kids said those things.

if any of you feel like kicking something, please don't. it won't help. hahaha.

but even with shits like that, i miss ICC and the people.
