I don't know why, but holidays always seem to have bad, bad, BAD effects on me. Bad from every aspect like, physically, mentally, emotionally, rationally and so on.
Physically in the sense that I rarely get up and MOVE during holidays. I just spend my days sitting in front of the computer, sitting in front of the TV, lying in bed, sitting in cinemas watching movies, sitting down and chatting with friends, reading while lying down. Holidays don't turn me into a couch potato. They just turn me into a plain potato, with no life, limbs or brain. The only times I get up and move is when I go and get food. Or rush to the toilet after a few hours of tahan-ing because I was too lazy to get up and go to the toilet.
Yes, I am a fat, useless, lazy, lifeless pig. I get it.
Mentally; what else? Boredom. My mind gets so clogged up with boredom that I just don't know what to do. I vegetate in front of the computer and TV and hibernate dawn to dusk. The only exercise my mind gets is from a book and if the book gets too boring, sorry la weh. Its back to the computer/TV/bed.
Emotionally. Let's face it. When you're bored, you feel like crap. When you have nothing to do, you come to a point when you just feel like screaming 'I NEED A BLEEDING LIFE! GIVE ME SOMETHING EXCITING! RRRRRGGHHH!'. That kind of thing. And when you go back to the same dull, mundane life, you feel all depressed and glum because your brain just doesn't feel like functioning anymore.
Rationally. When you reach that breaking point, you find something crazy to do to relieve yourself. Like me, I find myself talking to my cats more often because it suddenly seems fun.
Me : Opieeeeeee! Who's a good boy? Who's a good furry, chubby, foul-breathed but extweeeemely cute boy? ( while rubbing his tummy extremely hard )
Opie : Meowwww ( bites hand and runs under the table )
Me : Cherryyyyy, come here you fat, emo, lonely momma. Gimme some looove!
Cherry : Meow? ( looks at Nadia with insanely huge eyes )
See what I mean?
I would go out and find some kind of club or something, but since holidays are almost over there isn't much of a point. I guess I'll just have to survive the remainder of my holidays with the cats, computer, TV and books.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think I'll be glad when school reopens. Hmm.
