The Shock of the Lightning

Very appropriate title for what happened in school today.

It was a pretty stormy morning, thunder and lightning all around. We were doing addmaths when suddenly this huuuuuuuge flash of light suddenly went off right beside us. My first thought was, "Who the eff would be taking a picture now of all times? Dah la guna flash besar, takde keje ke?" and just as I was pushing that thought out of my head, this extremely loud crack exploded right outside the class.

Then I thought "Oh, it was lightning".

For the record, I wasn't the only one who thought it was a camera flash going off. Dayah was getting ready to pose, and then the thunder cracked. Another friend who just happened to be doing something wrong at that time thought that someone was taking a picture and caught her.

So after that, everything was chaotic. The alarm bells were going off, and there were girls crying from the shock of the lightning (hehe Oasis), and everybody was coming out of the classrooms because the alarm bells were going off. But everyone was coming out of class and not going anywhere though, because we don't have lightning drills do we?

While going down, I still felt chills running down my spine. All that power coming down from the sky and so close, it felt ... awesome, haha. But that's pretty much how I would describe it, I was awed, amazed, shocked, scared, freaked out and stunned all at once. Which equals to awesome.
