Take My Heart

And so passes the first week of school. First week of Form 5. I have to start getting used to saying that. Yeah, that fact is still being digested even though a week has passed. It's just so weird, going to school, and knowing that I'm a senior, and I'm going to leave soon. Looking at the Form 1's and how tiny they are, I realize that USED to be me thinking how huge and intimidating the Form 5's are. And now here I am, in Form 5.

Kind of overwhelming too, when you start to realize that THIS is the year. This is the year to make things happen, and every part of your future will depend on this year. And if you screw up, there's no going back and starting over. You have to get this year right, or everything else is going to go wrong. No pressure, eh? Haha.

I'm spazzing everytime I step into school. Every step into school is the last step and every hour isn't going to come back anymore. We can't goof off and skip class and think 'Ah, there's always next year' because there isn't going to BE a next year! And now we're in the big Form 5 labs doing all these big, "advanced" Form 5 work. And I have actually started looking up universities and colleges. I'm going into university or college next year. Geeeeeez.

I'm spazzing about the first week of school, imagine when I actually turn 17. I'm so glad my birthday is in October. I can be mentally prepared by then. Haha.

Caught By The Fuzz

Tagged! By Chewy and apparently I have to share my weird habits with the world. This should be fun.

5 WEIRD HABITS

  1. I crack my backbones and shoulder blade bones after waking up.
  2. I like licking Strepsils and after that one lick, only then do I put it in my mouth and suck it. I've been teased mercilessly by Ezmeer because of this =.=
  3. I lick the kaya off the pau instead of just biting it like a normal person. Usually a messy affair, but it's fun.
  4. I used to bite off the corners of the cheese slice that was sticking out of a cheeseburger before eating it but I don't anymore. Heheh.
  5. I have to take a deep breath before going to school.

5 NORMAL FACTS

  1. I love eating sushi with my dad.
  2. I'm starting a collection of tshirts with all those registered prints. So far, I have a Smurfs tee, a Joker tee, 3 Star Wars tees, a Wonder Woman tee, a The Strokes tee and an old old Blondie tee. I'm looking for more.
  3. I like the smell of new books, grass and rain.
  4. I hate thinking of serious things.
  5. I crack the lamest of jokes all the time.

5 LITTLE KNOWN FACTS

  1. I
  2. Am
  3. Out
  4. Of
  5. Ideas

Hahahah.

I'll Kill Her

New Year's Eve. Spent by watching TV (screwy signal), online (screwy connection), picking up cat shit off the floor and avoiding reproachful glances from father and burning glares from mother because of lack of practice in most hated subject, addfreakingmaths.

Midnight. Spent by trying to wish people happy new year but instead getting pissed off by screwy phone lines. Does everybody have to wish everybody else happy new year at 12 sharp?

New Year's Day. Spent by doing addfreakingmaths in the morning, thinking of every possible way to be able to go to a movie with dearly beloveds Hidayahaha and Machapik, watching Adam Sandler attempt to tell a decent bedtime story, and coming home to a sour faced mother who is so pissed over practically nothing and starts saying annoyingly irrelevant but extremely cutting things, driving me into my room and thus, blogging it all out for the world to see.

January 2nd. Will be spent by sitting in a crowded car with sour faced mother, tight-lipped father and extremely fat brother on the way to the big city where the remainder of the holidays will be spent in silence and possibly, boiling anger.

Well, the song playing now nicely describes anger. Har har.

So, happy freakin' new year to all of you! Hope YOU have a blast, at least some of us are allowed to! Hahahaha!

Rough Landing, Holly

Apparently, I've been tagged. I hardly ever do these kinda things, but since this seemed to be quite interesting, aku layan je lah. Thank you, Aresha :)

1)How would you describe yourself-- the 2008 version?
Procrastinator, slacker, lazy-ass, avid class skipper, and a million other negative adjectives.

2)How about 2009? What would you like to see in yourself?
I would like to see a hardworking, homework-doing, attention paying, class goer who will be able to do her SPM with her eyes closed.

3)What would be your theme song for 2008?
Chic N Stu - System of a Down. Hahahaha.

4)List three happy things that happened to you throughout 2008
i) Everyday in school spent with my horrible classmates.
ii) St John camp. Yes, I am still missing that bloody camp.
iii) A very pleasant and spontaneous 'not-your-birthday-but-what-the-heck-day' with Nana and Yaya.

5)How would you celebrate New Year's eve with your girlfriend/boyfriend?
By trying to talk to each other without getting pissed off. Haha.

6)Is there any thing you would like to say to someone before 2009 approaches?
What does this have to do with New Year? =.=

7) Who would you like to wish Happy New Year to?
Alex Turner, Julian Casablancas, Fab Moretti, Fernando Torres, Robert Pattinson (hehe), Brandon Boyd, Hayley Williams, my parents, long lost cousins, estranged aunts and uncles, fellow friends, and... my cats.

8) Who would you like to tag?
Everybody on my 'Expressive Earthling's list because I'm too lazy to think of who to tag. Haha.

Eyes On Fire

Lazing on your bed with a good book in one hand, a hot mug of chocolatey goodness in the other and the warm weight of your furry best friends purring at your feet.

Read : Contentment.

p/s : No, I don't drink coffee like the rest of my kind.

Megalomaniac

It's going to a long time before I can even start dreaming about getting my own car. But if I could, there's a particular plate that i would like:

WTF 310 or WTF 1992

WTH would be okay la, but I'd much rather have WTF. I suppose it would suit other drivers reactions if I turn out to be a shitty driver. Which I'm 90% sure I will be, given my horrible sense of direction. I can see it already.

Nadia : Where the heck is that turning? Oh theeere, change lane la (suddenly changes lanes)

Other driver : Eh WTF?!

Haha

Sitting, Waiting, Wishing

The most annoying thing happened. I was trying to break off a piece of chocolate, and while doing that, my fingernails scraped the chocolate. So now, I have chocolate in my fingernails. If my fingernails were long, life would be a little bit easier because then it would be easier to get the chocolate. But how, for the love of God, do i get chocolate out of short fingernails? Maybe I should wait for it to melt and then lick it off? Eeeeeeew.

Thank God it's the nice, creamy and extremely delicious Lidnt chocolate. If it were some cikai chocolate, I would have chucked it down the dustbin. Haha I sound like some kind of sucky prima donna that can't have anything get into her fingernails.

Hmm, my fingers smell like chocolate now.
